(wip) Week 5, Favorite Game

My favorite video game as a child was ‘Cookies and Cream’ developed by FromSoftware for the PS2. The camera’s two protagonist were two mouthless rabbits, Cookie (Chestnut in the European and Japanese version)- who was a chestnut colored rabbit and Cream, a subtle cool pink colored rabbit. Their goal in the entire game was to return the Moon back to the sky for the Village’s Annual Moon Festival.

The game over all was very simple to play, not amazing super powers or complicated buttons to issue a high power kick to the enemy. The game has two modes which was story mode and versus mode. Versus mode had nothing to do with the over all storyline of the game and was for pure clean fun.

‘Cookie and Cream’ was a present that one of my uncles gave to me 10 years ago as a present. The game was highly addictive; it was the only game other then ‘Okami’ that had me in front of the PS2 and a television screen for hours. I don’t know how to describe the game, maybe the simple movements and 3D cartoony atmosphere was interesting. Small, cute, and somewhat violent without being bloody was the over all atmosphere of the game and everything had a face on it.
